Gail Harvey is an award-winning film director who has studied under Norman Jewison, Wim Wenders, Arthur Penn, and Dan Petrie.
"A movie director for me is a visual fiction writer," says Harvey. "It's about telling the story, and connecting with the actors to make something truer than life. When it works, it is a wonderful thing. After thirty years of developing my artistic vision through photography, I try to put all the life I've captured on the street into the performance on the screen."
